About Canadia Group

Our Journey
Decades in the Making

Canadia Group was founded in 1991 in Phnom Penh, beginning with banking as Canadia Gold & Trust to support Cambodia’s financial system. As the business grew, it expanded into new sectors, with OCIC established for non-financial ventures and CIH for financial services. This laid the foundation for a broader, more diversified group.

Today, Canadia Group is one of Cambodia’s most dynamic conglomerates, with investments across banking, real estate, aviation, infrastructure, and more. The group has also expanded regionally, including operations in Laos and a presence in Hong Kong. It continues to be guided by core values of honesty, trust, and entrepreneurship.

Pung Kheav Se

Pung Kheav Se is a Cambodian serial entrepreneur who began his career in the 1980s in Montreal, Canada, after arriving as a refugee from the Cambodian Civil War.

Starting as a goldsmith, he expanded into remittance services before returning to Cambodia in 1990, where he founded Canadia Bank in 1991, now one of the country’s largest locally-owned financial institutions.

In 2000, he established Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) to support Cambodia’s infrastructure and urban development needs.

This marked the beginning of a broader vision that would grow into Canadia Group, spanning infrastructure, real estate, and financial services.
